Nrsimhapalli is the place that Lord Nrsimhadeva came after he had killed Hiranyakashipu in Satya Yuga, the deity dates back to that time. The lake here is where Lord Nrsimhadeva washed the blood from his hands.

Hari Hara Kshetra, where Sri Hari and Sri Hara are manifest as one deity
Harihara-ksetra, also known as Maha Varanasi, is where Sri Hari and Sri Hara (Vishnu and Shiva) are both manifested in the one deity. Lord Siva took shelter of this place after Sudarshan Chakra burnt down his city of Kazi. That is why it is known as Maha-Kasi. Hari-Hara is the manifestation of Lord Vishnu and Lord Siva, manifested by the Lord to show how dear Lord Siva is to him. If someone dies here, Sri Sambhu (Lord Siva) chants Sri Gaura’s name in his ear, so delivering him from the material world.

Mango Tree At Ama Ghata
During kirtana, Gauranga Mahaprabhu noticing that the devotees were getting tired, planted a mango seed in the ground, that immediately grew into the most beautiful mango tree, bearing fruit without skin or seeds. Gaurasundara then washed and offered then all to Krishna, before taking one for himself and then sharing the rest amongst the devotees. The mango tree can still be seen at Ama Ghata.

The Deities At Suvarna Bihar Math
Suvarna Bihar Math is where lie the remains of King Sena's palace, from Satya Yuga. King Sena was Buddhimata Khan in Gaura-lila. Buddhimata Khan was a wise and wealthy friend of Nimai's family. He paid for all the ceremonies at the marriage between Nimai and Vishnu Priya. Beautiful Deities of Sri Sri Radha-Madhava are at Suvarna Bihar Gaudiya Math.

Svananda Sukhada Kunja, where Bhaktivinode Thakur lived
Sri Gaura Gadhadhara worshipped by Bhaktivinode Thakur
Svananda Sukhada Kunja is where Bhaktivinode Thakur lived, it was built in 1889. The deities of Gaura Gadhadhara, that were worshipped by Bhaktivinode Thakur, reside here.

Surabhi Kunj, where the Surabhi cow (desire cow) eternally resides
Surabhi Kunj is where Lord Nityananda opened the marketplace of the Holy Names in Navadwip. In Bhaktivinode Thakurs book, Sri Navadvipa Mahatmya , Lord Nityananda says that Surabhi stays in Godrumadwip eternally. Lord Indras pride was crushed when Krishna lifted Govardhana hill with his finger, he did not understand the pasttimes of the Lord and so he asked advice of Surabhi, who advised him, to go to Navadvipa-dhama and worship Nimai to avoid committing offenses. They came to Surabhi Kunj and sang Gauranga's name and Surabhi remains there beside a banyan tree, constantly serving Gauranga's lotus feet. That is why the island is called Godrumadwip, go means cow, druma means tree (go" not only means cow, but it means cows, calves, gopis and gopas). Markendaya took shelter here during the great flood of devastation, brought there by the merciful Surabhi who saw him unconscious in the waves. When he came ound he saw Surabhi under the tree and he asked her for milk, which she gave. He asked her how he could escape the cycles of birth and death and she instructed him thus...

"By taking shelter in the worship of Gauranga, you will attain the sweet fruit of love of God. When that prema sits in your heart, it will drown you in the nectar of the playful pastimes of the Lord. You will get the shelter of Radha's lotus feet in Vraja, and your mind will be fixed in the service of the divine couple. The happiness of this service is unmatched, while in the non-differentiated Brahman there is only illusory knowledge."

"In worshiping Gauranga, there is no consideration. When you call out the name of Gaura, your sinful reactions are destroyed and you are freed from all distress as your material life is vanquished. Besides sinful reactions, even the fruits of mental speculation, which are only trouble, will be cut out at the root. Therefore, you should stay on this island, and submerge yourself in gauranga-rasa while worshiping the Lord."

Hearing this Markendaya took to chanting Gauranga, sometimes laughing, sometimes crying, Surabhi Kunj is the place where Markendaya received life!
